The entrance to the property is via stone steps leading to a shaded covered balcony, large enough for outdoor dining for 12.

The spacious L shaped open plan living area is roomy and full of character with comfy sofas and chairs, large dining table for 12. Satellite TV. Open log fire.

Separate study/games room with single sofa bed.

Kitchen: Modern fitted kitchen with larder fridge, separate freezer. Range type electric cooker with induction hob. Extractor, dishwasher and microwave.

Large private pool, 40 ft by 20ft with underwater lighting.Depth 3 ft at shallow end to 7 ft at the deep end. Roman steps into the shallow end. It enjoys direct sunlight all day long and is surrounded by a paved terrace for sunbathing, commanding wide views over the surrounding countryside. Sun-loungers. Access to the pool is guarded by an alarm system. The water is cleaned by an automatic pump and filter. Its chemical balance is regularly monitored and controlled.

Local Area

The pretty village of Montcuq is short drive away, with a choice of restaurants, cafes and local shops, boulangerie, bank etc. The historic town of Cahors is approximately 20km away with its famous landmarks such as the Valentre Bridge over the River Lot. Bustling with activity during the summer months, with music festivals, traditional markets, museums, cafes, shops and restaurants. Many of Frances 'plus beau villages' are within easy reach, especially the medieval

St-Cirq-Lapopie, which spectacularly overhangs the River Lot. Ideally located for river activities.
