    Situated approximately 20km from the historic town of Cahors, Le Romarin is private yet not isolated. Restored to a high standard yet retaining much of its original charm, the accommodation is a mix of modern and traditional. Built on 3 storeys, the house is spacious enough for families or groups sharing, yet couples will find it equally appealing.

    Local Area

    Village of Sauzet is 5 mins by car with a choice of restaurants, local shops and bakery and a weekly market every Thursday. A short drive, (15 mins) to Montcuq or Prayssac for a greater choice of shops and restaurants and weekly market every Sunday. The historic town of Cahors is approximately 20km away with its famous landmarks such as the Valentré Bridge over the River Lot. Bustling with activity during the summer months, with music festivals, traditional markets, museums, cafes, shops and restaurants. Many of Frances 'plus beaux villages' are within easy reach, especially the medieval St Cirq-Lapopie, which spectacularly overhangs the River Lot. Ideally located for river activities.
