This beautiful 18th Century cottage is a perfect country retreat for couples or small families seeking privacy and tranquility. The stunning location, on the limestone plateau within the Parc Natural de Causses de Quercy, is surrounded by open woodland.

Situated close to the village of Espédaillac and a short drive to Livernon, La Garenne is perfectly located for privacy,peace and tranquility. With 2 bedrooms, 1 shower/w.c  it is  ideal for couples or small families who enjoy total privacy and outdoor living. Surrounded by open countryside, it is very private with a secluded swimming pool 10x5m, with sun decking, loungers and parasols.

Ground Floor: Entrance is into an open plan living room (with sofa bed) Kitchen/dining room(radio, CD, TV, wifi).

Kitchen:  (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, gas cooker,freezer).

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: 1x double bed 160 cm

Bedroom 2:  1x double bed 160 cm and 1x single bed

Shower room with  shower, sink, W.C. Is located between the 2 bedrooms

Local Area

The pretty village of Espédaillac is within walking distance, and is surrounded by quiet country lanes, ideal for cycling and walking, with an abundance of tracks to follow and explore. A well maintained Tennis Club offers facilities on an hourly rate.  The local Auberge restaurant/bar is very popular with locals and visitors and has a good choice of regional dishes at excellent value.

Just 5 mins drive to Livernon with local bars, 2 restaurants, bakery, post office and general store, and within easy reach of many local tourist and beauty spots. A short drive will take you to the town of Lacapelle Marival, for wider choice of shops/supermarket and banks.  The medieval town of Figeac is approx 20 mins drive away, with it’s bustling Saturday market, as well as many delightful shops, bars and restaurants and also wide choice of supermarkets and hypermarket.

Local Shopping at Livernon and Assier

Larger choice of shops and restaurants at Gramat (15 km) and Figeac (25 km)

Very easy access to many tourist spots, activities and places of interest, e.g. Rocamadour, Cahors, St Cirq-Lapopie. An ideal base for visiting the Lot, Celé and Dordogne river valleys for a choice of many river activities.
