La Ferme de Gascogne is a 19th century traditional farmhouse surrounded by the beautiful Gascony countryside, 120km South East of Bordeaux. Just 3 km gentle walk/bike ride from local village of Labastide d'Armagnac, for local shopping facilities, boulangerie and pharmacy, and is in the heart of the Bas Armagnac region, famous for its A.O.C Gascon Brandy. The local towns of St Justin, Villeneuve de Marson, Cazaubon and Eauze are just a short drive away for a greater choice of shops, restaurants, bars, traditional markets and summer fetes. Ideally located for a wide choice of outdoor activities including, golf, (some of the best golf courses in France are located in this area), fishing, tennis, cycling, rambling and pony-trekking. Further a field, (1 1/2 hours) but easily reached for a day trips are the beautiful sandy beaches of the west coast, as well as the famous wine growing areas of Medoc, St Emillion, Sauternes and other locally produced caves. With 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, La Ferme de Gascogne is large enough to accommodate up to 8 people. It has been carefully restored to retain much of its original character and charm, with oak beams and light, airy rooms, typical of the area and period. The outdoor terrace provides a shaded eating area, and the private, circular pool is set amongst the extensive private grounds of over half an acre.
The ground floor entrance to La Ferme de Gascogne is via a few stone steps.
The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.
The large sitting room with it’s open fireplace has French windows to the garden and canopied terrace.
Dining room overlooking the garden and pool and seats 8 comfortably.

All modern facilities for outdoor living are provided including outdoor tables, chairs, sun-loungers, parasols, BBQ etc. The private pool is 8 metres in diameter and has a uniform depth of 1.15 metres and is fitted with an alarm to comply with French regulations.
La Ferme de Gascogne is 3 kms from the small medieval village of Labastide d'Armagnac, a 13th century Gascon bastide, which is easily reached on foot or cycle via the footpath or ‘voie vert’ passing close to the property. The elegant Place Royale hosts many leisure and cultural activities and many traditional markets and summer fetes.
Labastide has a bar, creperie, restaurant, pizzeria and ice cream parlour all within the Place Royale.
The local towns of St Justin, Villeneuve de Marsan, Cazaubon and Eauzeoffer a wider choice of restaurants, bars, weekly markets and cultural activities.
Further a field, to the North lies Bordeaux with it's old town and renowned wine producing areas of Medoc, St Emillion, Sauternes and Cognac. To the West lies the Cote d'Argent with miles of golden sandy beaches. The coastal towns of Mimizan, Biarritz and St Jean de Luz offer elegant shops, restaurants, boat tours, fishing trips and surfing. All of which can be reached in approximately one and a half hour’s drive. To the east lie the Midi Pyrenees with miles of rolling countryside and market towns. Approximately 2 hours drive south lie the Pyrenees, the Spanish borderand the Pays Basque region, providing spectacular scenery, mountain railways and restaurants, all with a touch of Spanish culture. Between all of these lies the pine clad countryside of Les Landes, most of which has protected Natural Park status, offering walking, picnicking, museums and preserved Gascon heritage sites.
