BELLEVUE is a 17th century converted stone barn, sleeping up to 8 in 4 x double rooms. There are breath-taking views over the limestone plateau of the beautiful Parc Natural des Causses de Quercy. The Causse is a lichen covered oak wooded limestone plateaux with the underlying rock often visible. Espedaillac is part of the famous 'Black Triangle' with virtually no night time light pollution, making star gazing an amazing experience.

Property Description.

Situated in the quiet, pretty village of Espédaillac and a short drive to Livernon for local amenities. A beautiful location for a holiday with family and friends, it provides spacious accommodation, for up to 8 people. The large converted stone barn, has 4 double bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. (2 en suite and one family).

The property is bordered by a walled field and slopes of lavender. There are wonderful views from the large balcony over the field and the surrounding countryside. The garden offers a barbecue, pretty vine covered pergola and large lavender bed leading to a meadow of wild flowers and walnut trees with part of the field mown short to allow for games.

Accommodation 

The main entrance is up some steps and into the main kitchen. Well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine,fridge and freezer and microwave oven. Through to large open original barn loft (18mx6m) with comfortable seating in front of the large open fireplace. Dining table for 8. Large flat screen TV. Table football.

Local area

The pretty village of Espédaillac is surrounded by quiet country lanes, ideal for cycling and walking, with an abundance of tracks to follow and explore. The local Auberge restaurant/bar, (run by the same family for generations) is very popular with locals and visitors, (booking advisable) and has a good choice of regional dishes at excellent value. There are many local fetes and activities in and around the village, during the summer months. Tennis courts are close by in the village.

Just 5 mins drive to Livernon with local bars, 2 restaurants, bakery, post office and general store, (Spar) and within easy reach of many local tourist and beauty spots. A short drive will take you to the town of Lacapelle Marival, for wider choice of shops/supermarket and banks.  The beautiful medieval town of Figeac is approx 20 mins drive away, with its bustling Saturday market, as well as many delightful shops, bars and restaurants and also wide choice of supermarkets and hypermarket.? There are a very wide variety of places to visit and things to do for young and old. Or you can just laze by the pool during the day. There are often music festivals in the village during August.
Within one hours drive, are numerous tourist spots and places of interest, including  Cahors, St Cirq-Lapopie and the famous historic site of Rocamadour, the fascinating natural chasm of the ‘Gouffre de Padirac’ as well as pre-historic caves, famous for their cave paintings.
